Child Support Payments
Payment Methods
In Person
The Daviess County Clerk's Office accepts cash only for child support payments.
Any other forms of payments, with the exception of income-withholding checks, are to be sent to:
Indiana State Central Collection Unit (INSCCU)
P.O. Box 7130
Indianapolis, IN 46207-7130
Employers issuing Income-withholding payments should send those payments to:
Indiana State Central Collection Unit (INSCCU)
P.O. Box 6219
Indianapolis, IN 46207-6219
Pay by Phone
Child Support payments may now be paid over the phone using a credit/debit card. The toll-free number is 866-972-9427 and is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Non-custodial parents (NCPs) must enter their social security number, 10-digit ISETS case number, payment amount, credit/debit card information, and phone number when prompted by the system. NCPs will be charged a convenience fee of 2.25% of the total amount of the child support payment paid.
Guidelines for Payments
It is imperative that the Payor include his/her ISETS case number on each payment. The omission of the ISETS case number will result in a lengthy delay in the disbursement of the Payee's check by the State.
If a Payor makes a cash payment through the Daviess County Clerk's Office, that payment will be mailed the next business day provided the payment was received by the Clerk's Office by 3 PM. Cash payments made after that time will be sent out within 2 business days.
It is extremely important that the Payor and Payee keep their names and addresses current with the Daviess County Clerk's Office and must be done in writing. Both the old and new name, social security number, address information, and case number must be provided.
A printout of your payment history is available from the Daviess County Clerk's Office. This may be obtained in person upon presentation of valid identification.
