Matt has worked in information technology sector for over 25 years. He currently lives in Washington, Indiana with his wife Brenda and their three sons.

He enjoys serving the community and has is a part of many organizations such as: Daviess County Economic Development, Daviess County Redevelopment Commission, Daviess County Central Dispatch Operations Board, Past Member, Daviess County Board of Aviation Commissioners, and Past President, Daviess County Chamber of Commerce.

Matt also likes to serve as a youth coach for many local athletic teams.


Mike Myers

First elected to represent District 3 on the Daviess County Council in 2010. A lifelong resident of Daviess County, Mike is a 1986 graduate of North Daviess High School and a 1990 graduate of Indiana State University. A former assistant sports editor for Washington Times Herald and still a correspondent for the newspaper. Mike is also a partner in the family farming operation. Mike is a sixth generation in his family to live and farm in Daviess County. Mike lives in Washington with his wife, Christine and their twin sons Ben and Alex


Darin Holder
Council Member Darin Holder

Darin has lived in northern Daviess County since 1968, attended Elnora Elementary and graduated from North Daviess High School in 1979.  After obtaining a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville in 1983, he started his career in engineering/management at NSWC Crane and married his wife, Jane in 1985.  Darin and Jane raised their three children on a small farm in northern Daviess County while he pursued and obtained a Masters Degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University in 1997.  Darin retired in 2017 after 33 years of civilian service to the Department of Defense.  Prior to retirement, he supported his community by serving on several boards, including the North Daviess School Board (16 yrs), Ketcham Memorial Center Board of Directors (17 yrs), Frank Roberts Youth League Board (4 yrs), Odon Senior & Community Center Committee (3 yrs) and St. Joseph Parish Council.  He also coached youth baseball, softball and football and wrote several grants for various community service projects.  Following retirement, Darin has remained active by serving on the GENERATIONS Advisory Council, Daviess County Community Foundation Scholarship Committee, Helping Hands Christian Missions Exec Committee and St. Vincent DePaul Society.  He is a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery where he is active on various committees and religion education.  Darin and Jane currently reside in Van Buren Township where they enjoy spending time with family, including their seven grandchildren.

I have lived in the Plainville area all my life. I graduated from North Daviess High School in 1975.

Upon graduation, I started farming with my parents Mike and Betty Sprinkle. Upon their retirement, I have continued farming for over 37 years.

My wife Ronda and I have been married now for over 37 years. We have 5 daughters and 9 grandchildren.

I have served on many boards, including Plainville Christian Church, Indiana Soybean Board, Daviess Co. Economic Development Council, Southern Indiana Development Council, Plainville Cemetery Board, Frank Roberts Youth League-Coach, and Daviess County Council for over 20 years! I enjoy serving the citizens of this GREAT COUNTY.


Tom Schaffer

Tom Schaffer 34 year resident of Madison Township.  Retired as Vice President of Operations Perdue Farms after a 38 year career.  BS degree in Agriculture from Penn State University 1982.  Married for 37 years to Elizabeth Schaffer with three grown children (TJ, Travis, & Jenna) and four grandchildren.  Community involvement with the ND FFA, Daviess County 4-H program, Odon Lions Club, and Purdue University Master Gardener Program.  Profession affiliation with the IN State Poultry Association, National Turkey Federation, IN Turkey Market Development Council, and the IN Ag. Leadership Program


Marilyn McCullough

Marilyn is a lifelong resident of Daviess County.  She married her husband Kelly in 1986 and they have two children and two granddaughters.  Marilyn is active in the community by serving on numerous Boards and volunteering much of her time.   She has worked over twenty years in the accounting industry but is currently a health insurance agent and is a licensed financial representative.
