Work Release

WORK RELEASE PROGRAM is a residential program that provides intensive supervision and services for adult males and females convicted of a felony or misdemeanor offense.

The program participant may be placed in the program as an alternative to traditional incarceration or immediately following incarceration. This placement provides an opportunity for effective transition to the community.

While in the program, a participant resides in the residential facility except when released for work. They must also attend education/treatment programs identified in an individualized case plan. This plan is designed to focus on needs that, if addressed, will reduce the likelihood that the participant will commit new criminal offenses.

While outside of the facility, a program participant's movement is monitored by program staff with frequent visits to the worksite as well as contact with stakeholders involved in the individual's rehabilitation effort.
